Understanding Clear Aligners – Part One Clear Aligner Treatment Parameters

This course is intended for GP Dentists and Their Teams

This 5-hour course is designed for doctors and their team members who would like to improve their effectiveness in clear aligner treatment. Key areas of focus include understanding clear aligner tooth movements and diagnosing different types of malocclusion encouraging patients to accept treatment. The attendees will learn key clinical skills to ensure an excellent patient experience. Participants in this course will also learn techniques to improve aligner treatment case selection and team approaches to improving clear aligner case acceptance. This course includes 90 days of 1:1 mentoring for doctors with the presenter via an online chat and post course support materials.

  • How to diagnose and define types of malocclusions 
  • Review current aligner materials 
  • Understand aligner tooth movement concepts 
  • Learn the Ataii 2,4,6 Rule 
  • Clinical Cases Class I, II, III
  • How to use a hybrid aligner system for simple cases
  • Understand the dental consumer mindset
  • Define the team approach to comprehensive care dentistry
  • Develop a clearly defined clinical philosophy incorporating tooth alignment 
  • Implement tooth position screening protocol with every patient
